Nieuwe Kerk stamt uit 1931. De laatste kerkdienst was in 1966, daarna is de kerk afgebroken vanwege de aanleg van het metrotraject Rotterdam CS &#8211; Zuidplein. De kerkdiensten werden tijdelijk voortgezet in het naastgelegen Zuidplein Theater, totdat de N.H. Bethlehemkerk aan de Bas Jungeriusstraat gereed kwam.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>De Gooilandsingel is vernoemd naar Gooiland of Het Gooi.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>De foto is gemaakt door de Fototechnische Dienst Rotterdam en komt uit het Stadsarchief Rotterdam.
